We are presented with opportunities to use our financial resources every day. Some in small capacities: a cup of coffee, a snack, or a treat. Some in much larger volumes. Generosity doesn’t start with us, is started with God. Our God spared no expense to extend His invitation to call us home. The Bible tells the whole story of the generosity of God. Not only has God extended the most amazing gifts of grace, faith, and forgiveness, but He offered His perfect Son to pay the debt that I owed. We are most like God when we give. Our response to the generosity of our God is to be generous with our time, with our actions, and with our finances as we strive to meet people where they are and help them take their next step with Christ.

Your giving helps change lives and reroute eternities. Jesus calls us to a life of surrender. Surrendering our will to God’s will. Surrendering our lives to Jesus. Part of that surrender is releasing the grip of our finances. Through our faith, we trust God to be our provider. Your generosity to Crossroads helps meet people where they are, to take their next step with Christ. Through your generosity, our outreach ministries are able to pour into people far from God and show them who Jesus is. Your generosity helps to provide food and clothing for those in need, love and encouragement for those who struggle, community and support for all sorts of people in our community and across the globe. We believe that through our outreach ministries, your generosity will help to change the eternities of people we reach with the Gospel of Jesus.

Through your generosity to Crossroads, we are able to provide support and healing to people trapped in addiction, grieving the loss of loves ones, recovering from past trauma, struggling in marriages and relationships, and in need of finding community that will help them walk with Jesus.

Through your generosity to Crossroads, we are able to serve our community. In a world that so often lives so selfishly, we believe our neighbors will notice when Crossroads shows up to serve them in Jesus name. Through serving and acts of kindness, we believe the Holy Spirit will soften hearts to for people to hear the truth of Jesus and that these acts of service will change the lives of us as well as the people we serve. Whether it’s a campaign to serve our neighbor, serving our local schools, or partnering with families organizations in the trenches of foster care, your generosity is making Kingdom impact now and in future generations.

Through your generosity to Crossroads, we are able to gather together at welcoming and engaging church campuses. Your generosity allows us to provide gathering spaces for large groups, small groups, and in all walks of life. Our church campuses are incredible ministry tools with powerful Kingdom purposes. Our campuses are designed for people to connect to God and each other. Our campuses are designed for people to feel comfortable and challenged to take a step in faith through worship, discipleship, through community, and Biblical teaching. Our prayer for our campuses is that this will be an environment where people can encounter God every time they come.

A tithe is 1/10, or 10%. God established the practice of returning a tithe in the Old Testament (Gen 14:20, 28:20-22, Deut 26:1-2) and Jesus affirmed in the New Testament (Luke 11:42). God’s instruction was to return the first 10% of all of our increase to Him as he graciously allowed each of us to operate with the remaining 90%. We believe the tithe to be a biblical cornerstone in Kingdom driven generosity. Tithing is a big step of faith and we know that not everyone can jump right in to a full 10% so we encourage people to start somewhere and let God continue to stretch you there. As a church, we practice the discipline of tithing as well. 10% of every dollar given to Crossroads is set aside and given to several global missions in all different parts of the world.

An offering is anything gifted above and beyond the tithe. An offering is an act of generosity to help advance the Kingdom or to help someone in need. Similar to a tithe, an offering is a big step of faith by being obedient to the example of Jesus with generosity (Matthew 25:40, Romans 12:20). Determining how much of an offering to give is between each of us and God. (2 Cor 9:7)

Step 1
Beginning the journey of generosity is a big step of faith. As a new giver, you can begin giving by clicking one of the "give" buttons below or using a giving envelope and dropping it off in one of the boxes at the back of the auditorium.

Step 2
Moving from an occasional giver to a consistent giver is another big step of faith. Step 2 is a step of humility. Causal giving tends to feel really good but also lends itself to make me feel like I’m the hero. By giving consistently to the mission of Crossroads, we are giving all of the praise to Jesus by agreeing to play a part of the vision He has called us to. Jesus is the hero! Step 3
Prioritizing the tithe. Step 3 is consistently returning the tithe to your local church body. In step 3, I give 10% of gross income to my church, each time I receive it. I can utilize any of the different giving options to exercise this discipline of tithing.

Step 4
Fostering a heart of generosity. Step 4 is open ended. Through obedience to the Holy Spirit and deepening my heart of generosity, step 4 is implementing a plan to give above and beyond my tithe. This could be a systematic increase to the percent I give. This could be following the promptings of the Holy Spirit to give above and beyond in certain seasons. This could be discovering how to give in specific, generous ways you can help to accomplish the mission and vision God has given to Crossroads Community Church.
